Apartments Grünangergasse, Apartment Ballgasse & Apartment Seilerstätte

These self-catering apartments are located in the city center of Vienna in the historical oldtown. The most objects of interest can be reached by walking. Within just 2 minutes of walking you can reach Stephansplatz with a wide range of shopping and entertainment possibilities. The Kärntnerstraße (Carinthianstreet) is one of the best known and most popular shopping streets in Vienna. This shopping street and a traffic junction with a station for the subwayline U1 + U3 are located nearby to this apartments. On the other hand you can walk at Wollzeile and explore many shops, restaurants and cafés.

Silence and recreaton can be found at Stadtpark with the famous Johann Strauss Memorial or in one of the “Schanigärten” (sidewalk cafés) that can be found everywhere in the inner city.

Apartements Praterstraße 76,78 & Apartment Rotensterngasse

The 2nd District, also called “Leopoldsstadt”, flanks the inner city to the North.The Inner City can be reached by walking (ca. 25 minutes) or with public transport (subway ca. 5 minutes). The Praterstern is an important traffic junction with stations for the subwayline U1, the railways S1,S2,S3,S7 and many busses and tramways.

This part of Vienna is well known for its extensive parks and gardens. The Augarten is one of the most popular Viennese parks with a wonderful, baroque garden. The Prater or more precisely the Praterauen (meadows) is the biggest recreation area within Vienna. On the cityside of the meadows is the oldest amusement park of Vienna – the Wurstelprater. At this place is the location of the famous Riesenrad.

All 3 apartments are located directly or nearby the Praterstreet, which provides all important shopping facilities. All kinds of shops – from the supermarket to the hardwarestore – are in the nearby area.

The Wienerlinien is a public company that is responsible for public transport in Vienna. Additionally the railways in Vienn can be used with the same ticket.

Ticket pricing:

Single ride: 1,70 € in the ticket agency or at ticket vending machine in the stations
2,20 € directly in the bus/railway/subway

Wit a single ticket you can drive one way, a transfer is possible.

24-hours Vienna Card: 5,00 € This ticket is valid for exactly 24 hours. Within this ticket you can use all means of public transport without any restriction.

72-hours Vienna Card: 12,00 € This ticket is valid for exactly 72 hours. Within this ticket you can use all means of public transport without any restriction.

Die Wien Karte (Vienna Card): 16,90 € This ticket is valid for exactly 72 hours and can be used with all means of public transport. Additionally you get a reduction at many objects of interest and attractions.

8-days Card: 24,00 € With this card you can use all means of public transport in Viena for 8 days of your choice. The days do not have to be in a row, it is your choice on which days you want to use this ticket. The ticket consists of 8 single-day tickets, so you can use this ticket for several people (f.ex 4 persons for 2 days).

Arrival via Airplane:

At the Airport Wien-Schwechat you have 2 options:

1) You take the railway S2 (direction Mistelbach) or S7 (direction Floridsdorf) to the train station Wien-Mitte. Here you change to the subwayline U3 (direction Ottakring) until the station Stephansplatz. From the station it takes just 3-4 minutes of walking to the apartment.

2) You take the fast direct-connection with the City Airport Terminal (CAT) to the railwaystation Wien-Mitte. There you change to the subwayline U3 (direction Ottakring) until the station Stephansplatz. From the station it takes just 3-4 minutes of walking to the apartment.

Arrival via Railway:

Arrival at Westbahnhof:

You take the subwayline U3 (direction Simmering) until the station Stephansplatz. From the station it takes just 3-4 minutes of walking to the apartment.

Arrival at Südbahnhof:

From the railway station you can reach the subwaystation Südtiroler Platz (U1) after about 500m. There you take the subwayline U1 (direction Leopoldau) until the station Stephansplatz.

Arrival Nordbahnhof (Praterstern):

Please take the subwayline U1 (direction Reumannplatz) until the station Stephansplatz. From the station it takes just 3-4 minutes of walking to the apartment.
